• 2.2 AC public park and 47 downlit public parking spaces.
• This project was the 1st park project in St. Petersburg created from unutilized land under the FDOT highway, where all funding came from outside the City budget. The park will leverage public art to connect bifurcated districts and serve as a beautiful backdrop for visitors and residents entering Downtown St. Petersburg off the I-275/375. Multiple uses scheduled for the park will include farmers/indie markets, food truck rallies and public gatherings. It will also act as a way for people visiting St. Petersburg to exit the highway, park and access scooter and bike rentals to easily explore areas from the downtown core to its immediate south.
